Local Classes We Know About So Far

The following classes are being offered this fall in our area:

Ron Harrison

Ron Harrison will offer watercolor classes at Tabernacle Church in Salem, starting Oct. 7. The class is from 9:30 to 11:30 on Thursdays, and costs $20 a session. Call Liz at the church at (978) 744-3164. The group is congenial, and you can meet the artist at his web site thru the link above.

Virginia Hill

Virginia Hill will present "Watercolor for All" at the Danvers Senior Center 25 Stone Road, in Danvers, on Wednesdays, from Sept. 13 to Oct. 22. Class runs from 1:00-3:00, and the cost is $55 for Danvers residents/$75 for non-residents. Registration begins Aug. 19 (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Robin Samiljan

Robin Samiljan will offer a watercolor class at Montserrat, for 8 weeks, from Sept.23 to Nov. 18, on Thursday nights, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. She will include instruction on understanding and using watercolor, with focus on landscapes and balance, and the dichotomy of realism versus impressionism.
